The blog of Rick Sunderlage (Not my real name)
for most categories in the ICUP, it is about, SHOW UP MORE. Not ride faster.Sad but true.....dream big, train hard, 7 dollar plaques are rare.......Was that mean???
Bob- Yeah, it seems like they should weight the points more to reward actual results vs. # of races. At the least the SS div is no where near as competitive as the Exp 40+.By the way, when do you submit your upgrade to the Pro class? You had a nice year.
Pro, Hah, Pro, hah.the icup was a training plan, not focus. As it should be, I'm becoming a ride longer type of guy.I do race against the pro's at most of those long events though.Next year will probably see me do even less Icups. I go faster after 4 hours, mostly.
I saw that yesterday Rick! nice work! I love it. I'm going to ride EVERY local ICUP race and the St. George/Hurricane races next season and intentionally get 6th in each one in SS and see if I can podium. I think that's a great game plan.Use mediocrity to achieve excellence!!
I was thinking of buying some Adobe stock, but I think I'll wait until your plan was accepted or rejected.
