CX On My Mind

It's only June but I can't stop thinking about CX season. Watch this teaser and tell me you don't want to go play in the mud.

What an unusual contagion - you either get a severe case of cyclocrossitis, or you're completely unaffected.

Rick, these are bizarre but typical symptoms. Here it is prime season for road and mountain bike riding / racing, and you're thinking of riding (carrying) a bike on pavement, grass, dirt and mud when it's cold and possibly raining or snowing. It sounds like even you don't understand why you have CX on the mind, yet there it is.

SBJ- i like where your head is.

Eber- nuthing is worth having to clean the garage.

KK- riding/carrying a bike on pavement, grass, dirt, and mud when its cold and raining or snowing is way more interesting than the standard road or MTB ride.

I guess I'm just a fair weather cyclist.

I'm telling you Rick....just ditch your light weight XC rig for one afternoon and come up to I-Street with me and your days of 'un-interesting' road and mtn rides will be over.

I'll even provide you with a jumping bike for the day.

scott- you obviously haven't seen my downhill skills (or lack of). I'm much too pretty for that stuff.

Rick- You're always too far in front of me...so you've obviously got enough of the gravity skill set.

Cyclofile, is that anything like a Pedalfile?

Maybe I should start CX racing so that I can be skinny.

Uh, did I come off as condescending? Didn't mean it that way. Just trying to say that sometimes things that don't make sense work anyway.

KK- it's all good.
