Young Masher
Sage (5), the youngest of the Sunderlage family mashes the pedals. It had to be on HER terms which meant she got to wear her black boots.
Proud Dad and Sage. Now she keeps asking me when I can buy her red mountain bike gloves. She might be the future. Watch out SS division.

Hot Dogs and Adrenaline
Is 8:30am too early for a hot dog and 44oz diet coke? I submit that it is not. Especially after a "dawn patrol" with the "Wolverines".
(and yes, I use degree deoderant because it says on the label, "responds to increase in adrenaline". Perfect for me).

Monday
Warning, watching this video will make you want to take the day off work and head to St. George.
Brandon put together a cool video from our Monday road trip last week. Enjoy.

Day Trip
Yesterday I spent all day riding dirt in St. George with Miles, Brandon, and Dan Z. We left the UC at 6am, were riding by 10am and rode until about 5pm with a lunch break mixed in. And then back home by 10pm.
Brandon was able to test out his new bike. The last thing he needs is an advantage on the dowhills. Now he is pretty much uncatchable.
Dan Z. is in good form and was able to dish out some pain on the climbs. I learned that he doesn't eat much sugar and I think that transaltes into good legs during the season.
Miles is riding strong but didn't show his cards. I think he may be messing with our heads and is waiting to punish us once race season is here.
After our rides, we paid a visit to Sabrosa HQ, USA. Jon gave us the grand tour. Very cool.
A quick escape from the cold and snow was just what I needed. Utah is a pretty amazing state. Just a 3.5 hour drive south and you can be in dry desert riding dirt.
Now that I'm back home, it looks like a storm is on tap for tomorrow which means we could be skiing 12" of powder on Wed/Thur.
Our rides included: Stucki, Zen, Barrell Roll, and some of the Rim trails for a total of about 32 miles.

Strength Training
Race season is around the corner. As a SS rider, I'm always looking for ways to strengthen the legs. Problem is, I hate the gym and I hate lifting.
So I do my best to get creative.
