The Bunny Hop

I learned that my body does not respond well to a fast paced night ride, getting home at 2am and then waking up to race CX the next day. I got worked on Saturday's cross race at Wheeler farm. I sucked but at least my family was there to watch me suck it up.

During the A flight, I got to witness Ali bunny hop two barriers placed on a very steep run up. Insane. I found some video of it on Team Rico's blog. The video doesn't do it justice but you get the idea.

Check it out.

Wow! That is unbelievable. He skyrocketed that second jump, going uphill! His front tire is at least 2 feet above the ground. How in the world did he do that? Was there a hidden ramp?

That boy gotz sum mad skillzz.

You won the contest for most sophisticated rider in that turquoise tux, with nearly matching bike. Best bike/kit combo I've seen this year.

mtb w- no ramp. and the video really doesn't show how steep that run up was. He had to carry some serious speed to pull that off.

jdub- I need to burn that tux. I wore it on the night ride, then raced in it, and then wore it to the halloween party later that night. It's ripe.

How did your legs feel after back to back races?
