It's on order (along with a nice new Stan's ZTR 355 / Chris King wheel set) and should be built up and ready to ride by mid Sept. All single speed all the time now for me.
I'm sticking with some squish up front and will be stealing parts from my Rig to complete the build.
I've already picked out which pillows I can sell on ebay in order to pay for a new carbon bar or maybe a motorcycle chain (I broke the chain on my Rig this week. That's 2 broken chains in 2 months).

Those Niner bikes get good reviews - looks like a sweet ride.
I wouldn't do carbon bars - too fragile and finicky. In Aluminum I trust. Maybe carbon with rigid forks to get a little spring, but if you're putting on a suspension fork I'd just do Aluminum. Just my opinion after having seen too many broken or crushed carbon bars.
I've heard from many that they prefer SRAM chains because they don't break as often as Shimano and other brands. But if you were using SRAM, don't have any ideas. Just too many watts Rick.
Which 29er suspension fork are you using? I'm trying to decide what to get for my single speed. My arms, wrists and hands just can't take the punishment of a rigid front end.
KK- Thanks for the recommendation on the SRAM chain.
utrider- I'm using my Reba from the Rig. It's not as cool as the Fox but it's what I have and it's worked great. I rode rigid for 1 season and didn't enjoy it. Nothing wrong with suspension.
Remember my friend, there is only room for one godzilla green bike in town.
TP- Mine is the color raw. I would never do that to you.
Sweet!
get a carbon fiber chain
Apparently aluminum is the strongest material out there so the chain should be aluminum. Maybe with carbon fiber pins.
I need to find some new rants - evidently I'm becoming predictable.
