You've seen them out there. The guys who spend most of their time out of the saddle, mashing the pedals, pushing that one gear and those big wheels up the climbs. Many ride fully rigid while others (like me) like some squish to their ride. If you spend any time riding dirt, no doubt you've been passed by someone with one gear.
The single speed 29er brings you back to the basics. Simple, quiet, fast, and painful.
We've come up with a jersey dedicated to honor the single speed 29er set up. Weather you ride with gears, small wheels, or a SS 29er, you can appreciate it.
go ahead...click on it
Details on how to get one are coming soon. But for now, send us your thoughts on the design. There will be a limited number of these on the initial run, so start saving your pennies if you want one.

Nice!
I would wear it. But not while on gears. That would be lame.
Really though, nice design.
Great idea! I suggest adding the word "speed" to the back so it reads:
29
single
speed
Otherwise people may look at that and think you're 29 years old and single (as in not married, available). But maybe that's what you want. ;-)
I'm not a fan of argyle, but I know many are. The color scheme looks good to me.
I get the "one x one", but it doesn't really resonate with me, but maybe it does with the SS crowd.
I like how the design is not cluttered, but I wonder what it would like like with a graphic of two chainrings (one larger than the other) connected with a chain. But maybe that's too pictorial and simplistic.
Overall the design looks good as-is. Have fun with it.
i want one. i'll give you $500 for it.
Adam- The argyle w/ the beard would look good. I've never seen you on a geared bike so no worries there.
KK- It's SS thing. Ride one and you'll get it.
Dug- I'm making a special edition one just for you.
I love that jersey. However, I am a lame geared 29er so I can't wear it.
I love the colors and the monster argyle pattern.
kk-I think argyle is just what your diet is missing.
I want one. Let me know when it's available.
Sign me up for one as well! Looks nice!
That's a fantastic jersey. The problem for me is that my 29er isn't a singlespeed and my singlespeed isn't a 29er. What's a boy to do?
Thanks for all the feedback and interest. Salt Cycling is a new project with several other jersey's lined up. If the SS 29er isn't for you, stay tuned (or go get a SS. I promise you will be faster and happier).
I like. I will take one. Does the "salt cycling" need to be there? It seems out of place.
Tony only has about 40 jerseys hanging in his closet. He could use a few more....count him in.
LOVE the argyle
I agree with Sleepy, the Salt Cycling logo on the front does look out of place because the 29/SS logo has that antique style, but your logo is very clean and modern. Is the Salt Cycling logo on the back and the web address inside the collar enough?
Love the jersey. If I end up adding a 1x1 to the stable, I'll pick one up if you have any leftovers. Medium.
I like the jersey, really, except for me it means I am lying about being 29, single, but honest about monogamy.
Oh, and I like Argyle, but i think Paisley is the next argyle.
Rick, pay no attention to sleepy or kk. I would normally follow any fashion advice from those two(who wouldn't?) but they are just wrong about the logo. I might need to find some new fashion mavens. I'm really disappointed in them.
Um...yea, clean up the font on the back - it's all messy.
Will you be releasing later editions without the big "E" in SinglE?...It worked for LEvis.
People better snag these first editions up and they can sell these on eBay in about 20 years for mucho dinero.
Stupidbike- That's just it. None of us are 29 and single (most are married and have kids) but it's funny to have that on the back of a jersey. Well, I think its funny anyway.
Brad- you've always been the most stylish of the group. I'm taking your feedback over KK (sorry Kris).
Rob- Maybe we should be denim for the material. It would be great for those early morning downhills in AF.
Jill- Tony would look good in this.
Aaron- If you get a single, I will fear you even more.
Rick - No offense taken. I've never been stylish and I'm sure age hasn't helped any. Which makes me wonder why Brad would think I have any style sense - he obviously hasn't seen me dressed for cycling (or any other occasion) enough times. So why did I comment? It's a compulsion, and I have a delusion that I *think* I know what looks good.
I better start wearing the tall socks, plaid, mixed kit and baggy knickers to get with it.
I want one, and the matching argyle socks. L for the jersey, and XL for the socks. I'll pay you next time I see you. How much?
Jamie- stop it. I'll swap you for your wrenching services.
