Magic Slippers

These things are like having an extra gear. Yeah, I know they are yellow. That's the point. If you have yellow shoes on you had better turn yourself inside out to go as fast as possible.

I've tried to train to get faster but that only gets you so far. At some point, you have to buy speed.

Besides, all the cool kids in the pro peloton are wearing yellow shoes this year.

I wonder if Rachelle will let me wear these to church?

P.S. Tomorrow is the WRS #9 at Soldier Hollow. Salt Cycling is one of the sponsors. Come race and win some bib shorts.

  6. You must have narrow feet. That's the luckiest foot width for cool cycling shoes. I'm stuck with one off-the-peg brand and one crazy expensive wide-width Sidi option. Then again, those Mavics ain't cheep either. Yellow is so pro!

  13. How many pillows did those shoes cost you?

  14. You and that belt remind me of a kid that reluctantly hands over his favorite toy to a friend to "share" and then spends the rest of the time trying to get that kid to give it back. Good stuff man. I love it.

  15. Shut up Jamie! You must know we're way beyond pillows.

  16. Jamie- I should have never posted about the pillows. It's escalated way beyond pillows. I only mention this so the rest of you will learn from my mistakes.
