  1. One of the sweetest joys of working for a closely held company is no end-of-quarter madness.

You should ski with us tomorrow and just tell mgmt that your saw was too dull and needed sharpening if you were to be at your best.

  3. What does "end of quarter" mean anyway? I'm afraid you may be alone.

  5. Yes, Instead of end of quarter it is called "fight for your life everyday"

Sub 9 leadville is totally possible if work wasn't a factor. In this market though I'm happy to work. All day. Every day if necessary.

That's why I have a head lamp, now if it would just warm back up a little.

  6. I wish I only had an "end of quarter." Mine happens every "end of month" now. Better than nothing to do at all. Last year was brutal.

  7. "The graph on the wall,
tells the story of it all."

    Sorry man.

  11. Yeah, but you get vacation/sick days, if I'm not working, I'm not making a dime, so corporate america has that over us self employed shmucks. On the bright side, I don't have anyone bugging me for the TPS reports so that's good.
